the bank to the principal or employer guaranteeing
that the oblige (bank customer) will fulfil an obligation or series
of obligations to the employer and that in event
that obligations are not met, the employer will recover its losses
via the bond issued by the Bank.
Letters of credit or documentary credits is a credit instrument and means of securing and executing payments thus are very important in today’s international trade.
This is the form of money transfer that enable PBZ Bank Customers to transfer funds from his/her account to any another bank account within Tanzania. The customer can transfer any amount of money at a cost of TZS 10,000/= only, the transfer is at real-time.
