Benki ya Watu wa Zanzibar kupitia Shirika la Posta Tanzania kutoa huduma za kifedha nchini

NAIBU Katibu Mkuu wa Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje na Ushirikiano wa Afrika Mashariki, Dkt. Mwinyi Talib Haji amepongeza Shirika la Posta Tanzania (TPC) na Benki ya Watu wa Zanzibar (PBZ) kwa kuanzisha ushirika wa kipekee unaohusisha taasisi mbili za Serikali ya Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania na Serikali ya Mapinduzi Zanzibar kwa ajili ya kuongeza wigo wa kuwahudumia wananchi katika huduma za kifedha. Dkt. Mwinyi ametoa pongezi hizo wakati akizindua huduma ya uwakala wa PBZ na PBZ katika ukumbi wa mikutano wa VETA uliopo jijini Dodoma

Postamasta Mkuu wa Shirika la Posta Tanzania, Hassan Mwang’ombe (aliyeketi kushoto) na Mkurugenzi Mtendaji wa Benki ya Watu wa Zanzibar (PBZ), Idd Haji Makame (aliyeketi kulia), wakitia saini Mkataba wa ushirika wa kutoa huduma za kifedha baina ya Shirika hilo na Benki ya PBZ. Aliyesimama nyuma mwenye tai ni Naibu Katibu Mkuu wa Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje na Ushirikiano wa Afrika Mashariki, Dkt. Mwinyi Talib Haji pamoja na baadhi ya watendaji wakishuhudia tukio hilo lililofanyika kwenye ukumbi wa VETA, Dodoma.

Aidha, Dkt.Mwinyi ametoa rai kwa TPC na PBZ kuendelea kuaminiana kwa huduma wanazozitoa ili katika ushirika wao kila mmoja atumie huduma za mwenzie na kuendelea kuimarisha utoaji wa huduma bora kwa wananchi, huku wakienda sambamba na ukuaji wa teknolojia na kuitumia ipasavyo katika kutimiza ndoto na malengo ya taasisi zao.

Mwinyi Talib Haji akielekezana jambo na Mwenyekiti wa Bodi ya Wakurugenzi wa Benki ya Watu wa Zanzibar (PBZ), Kidawa Ahmed Saleh kabla ya kuzindua ushirika wa kutoa huduma ya fedha za benki hiyo kupitia Shirika la Posta Tanzania uliofanyika kwenye ukumbi wa VETA, Dodoma.

Naye Naibu Katibu Mkuu wa Wizara ya Ujenzi, Uchukuzi na Mawasiliano (Sekta ya Mawasiliano), Dkt.Jimmy Yonazi amesema TPC ni taasisi inayofanya vizuri chini ya Sekta ya Mawasiliano kwa kuwa wabunifu kujiendesha kibiashara, na kwa ushirika huu utaleta mwanga mpya kwa huduma za posta na huduma za fedha nchini na kuwa mfano kwa mataifa mengine ambapo ametoa rai kwa taasisi hizo kuhakikisha kuwa mataifa mengine ya Afrika yanajifunza kutoka kwao na kutumia ubunifu wa aina hii.

Akizungumza katika hafla hiyo Mkurugenzi Mtendaji wa Benki ya PBZ, Idd Haji Makame, amesema kuwa utoaji wa huduma za PBZ kupitia Shirika la TPC utakuwa rahisi na nafuu kwasababu shirika la TPC lina mtandao mpana na linapatikana kila mahali nchi nzima huku kwa upande mwingine ushirika huu utaifanya PBZ ijulikane na kuwafikia wateja wengi zaidi.

Naye Postamasta Mkuu wa Shirika la TPC, Hassan Mwang’ombe amesema kuwa ushirika huu wa uwakala wa PBZ ni mwendelezo wa Shirika lake la TPC katika kutimiza ndoto za kuwa kituo cha kutoa huduma mbalimbali mahali pamoja ili kuwawezesha wateja wa Shirika hilo na wananchi kupata huduma za aina mbali mbali mahali pamoja (one stop centre) ili kuwarahisishia wananchi kupata huduma na waweze kuokoa muda wao badala ya kutafuta huduma kwenye ofisi au taasisi tofauti ambapo itawawezesha kuendelea na shughuli nyingine za kiuchumi na kijamii.

Mwang’ombe amesema kuwa Shirika lake la TPC limeunganishwa na mashirika mengine ya posta yapatayo 660 ulimwenguni kote ambapo ushirika baina yao na PBZ utatoa fursa kwa wateja wao kutumia huduma za uwakala na huduma nyingine za TPC ndani na nje ya Tanzania

The people’s Bank of Zanzibar Limited (PBZ) is a Semi-Autonomous Public Institution which is 100% owned by the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar.  It was established on June, 30 1966 under Cap.153 of the Zanzibar Companies Decree as repealed and replaced by the Companies Act No. 15 of 2013. Duties and Responsibility

  • Evaluate the assigned quality of the finance portfolio and recommend appropriate actions to be taken on non performing financing.
  • Analyze the position of overdrafts and financing accounts against the proposed repayment schedule.
  • Report to the supervisor on early warning signs leading to financing default.
  • Monitor repayment performance of financing and advise supervisor appropriately.
  • Monitor movement of approved facilities through the overdraft (OD) list and ensure they are within the agreed terms and conditions.
  • Monitor receivable account to ensure it is correctly accrued and posted in the respective accounts as well as ensuring the Bank’s income is realized.
  • Ensure that stipulated financing returns by the Bank and BOT are prepared and timely submitted to respective authorities.
  • Prepare financing reports for management and other users.
  • Prepare regularly all periodic reports (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) and ensure their timely submission to respective units.
  • Monitor financing/overdrafts re-payments made by customers.
  • Ensure customers’ compliance to IBD’s financing Policy, financing Manual, financing strategy, management circulars and directives and Bank of Tanzania Regulations.
  • Attend to queries raised on issues related to financing supervision and monitoring.

Position objectives:

Maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from any recognized University.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining the bank’s electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning the bank’s electrical equipment, appliances, and devices
  • Constructing and fabricating the bank’s electrical parts, using hand tools and specifications.
  • Reading and interpreting the bank’s electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics

Education and Experience:

  1. Ordinary Certificate of Secondary School Examination (Form – IV) issued by the National Examinations Council with minimum of Division IV.
  2. Driving Certificate or Certificate of Advanced Driveling will be given priority

Key skills and Competencies:

  1. Possession of a clean Class C driving license

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive Bank vehicle carefully to ensure safety of the vehicle and passengers
  • Keep record of logbook for all trips made
  • Report promptly to the supervisor on all abnormalities that may occur to the vehicle
  • Keep safely the vehicle’s accessories, such as keys, jacks, spare tyre, spanners, etc.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect and dispatch messages (correspondences) as may be directed
  • To assist in photocopying and binding of Bank’s documents as may be directed

  • File Bank’s documents in the respective files

1. Kabla ya kujaza Fomu hii soma kwa makini Kanuni ya 3.5.1 hadi 3.5.10 ya Kanuni ya Utumishi ya Benki ya Watu wa Zanzibar ya mwaka 2018. Orodha ioneshe mali za kibiashara na za matumizi binafsi.
2. Kama nafasi katika fomu hii haitoshi, andika taarifa ya nyongeza katika karatasi nyengine na uiambatanishe
